My room was lovely and had a desk & chair which was very handy. I also had a small balcony which was lovely to sit out on. The mini bar and tea/coffee area were nice and the bathroom was perfect. The sponge and other items provided in the bathroom were much appreciated and the storage area beneath the sinks was very useful. Having 2 sinks too was lovely. The staff were very informative & helpful on arrival and continuously throughout my stay. The option to receive a free drink if you choose not to get your room made up each day (if staying a few days) is a great idea & incentive to save staff time and better for the environment too. The location is central to lots of things and it is lovely to have the stalls / huts in the square outside the hotel selling various items. I found it a safe and quiet enough area in that it wasn't rowdy at night.

Fabulous hotel in Porto. Close to Sao, Catarina and all the other places I was interested in. So easy to get everywhere from here. The staff were absolutely brilliant. Hugo was lovely, so helpful and gave us an amazing room, João was so great and helpful too. Magda as well. Special thanks to Pedro in Tabu, the hotel restaurant, who was fantastic to us at dinner. Patricia and Catia were lovely at breakfast, too. I didn't get the name of the girl who served us for lunch before we checked in - she was also great. Wonderful experience at this hotel. Highly recommended.

The property was easy to find and walkable to most things we visited. We could easily access Ubers and your guides, walk to Balhao Market and other sights. We did walk to Gaia, but took taxi back as we were traveling with a 7 yr old. Breakfast in house was great, and the staff in the morning were all so lovely and kind. The front desk team were also very helpful.

The rooms are very quiet, abundant breakfast, complimentary water, coffee; cookies and apples at the reception; very central location, parking available (17.5€ / night), Christmas market is just in front of the hotel. The room has a mini-desk and good WiFi connection. Post office is 2 min away, if you wish to send postcards.

Superb central location, a short walk to shopping, markets, bridge and river. The rooms were clean, modern and well looked after. The greeting when we arrived was friendly and efficient, as were all the staff we engaged with. Breakfast is nice enough, although not outstanding. Special shout out to Maria Joao at breakfast who was a delight every morning. Throughly recommend this hotel

The building itself is nice and beautiful. The hotel was established in a historic building with a beautifully designed interior. The breakfast was nice and varied, and the swimming pool was good too. The room was nice, bright, and very comfortable. The hotel close walking to the city centre and other places.

Fabulous view of Batalha square from the room. Really good breakfasts, lots of choice and staff on the ball with service and replenishments.

Very friendly and helpful staff at reception on arrival. The room was very comfortable with huge bed. Everything was on offer for breakfast which was until 12pm on a weekend. Good location for many of the main areas and some great places to eat...Casa Geudes Rooftop was really good.

Hotel was perfect and centrally located to the sites. We had a premium room with a balcony that overlooked the city. Breakfast was included and offered many varieties. The hotel also offered lemonade, water, apples and small cookies at the front desk. Staff was professional and courteous. We were pleased choosing this hotel.

The property is an iconic building in central Porto which has been refurbished to a high standard. The entrance hall and reception are very well appointed and the plaza immediately outside the hotel leads within a km to the cathedral.
